VT Leasing Limited was incorporated in June 1989 to engage in the business of equipment leasing. With the registered office at No. PC 14 Ahmed Onibudo Street, Victoria Island, the company commenced operations in November 1989. Though equipment leasing in its full ramifications had always been the Company’s business, special emphasis was placed on small ticket leases to individuals within a defined income range. This carved a niche for the company as the first financial institution to give any form of consumer credit albeit to a select middle income group and has turned VT Leasing into a household name in Nigeria.
